Castle: Tiny Door

We continue up the spiral staircase. Halfway up to the next landing we notice a teeny tiny door at the bottom of the step... just there.

The is a small door the size of a hedgehog.

Of course, being curious folk that we are, we give the door a jiggle.

A-ha, it is unlocked.

Being human-sized there is no way we can fit through this small passage. And there is no potion nearby to shrink us down to size.

So we settle curiosity by taking a look inside.

And lo and behold, a miniature room!

with a miniature bookcase!

that holds this miniature book!

My two-bits:
In-a-word(s): mirror

This is a sweet miniature novella that delights and leaves me in wonderment.

I loved the illustrations of masked ball crowds which does well in taking you into the magical setting of the story.
